The canvases have been relined. The paint surfaces are under a thick dirty and patchy varnish. The craquelure on The Allegory of Summer is beginning to flake in some areas. There are scattered retouchings on both and both appear to have been extended by approximately 10cm on the lower edge. Both unframed.
