Description
- Giovanni Paolo Panini
- a capriccio view of architectural ruins with saint Peter preaching
- oil on canvas
Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is secure and under a discoloured varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals one very small restored hole centre right. The painting would benefit from a new varnish but otherwise appears to be in fair condition. Offered in a later wood and plaster frame in fair condition.
