"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's. The canvas has been lined and the paint layer is stable. Under U-V light a scattering of small retouchings can be seen across the surface otherwise the painting is in a good preserved condition. Removal of the varnish would improve the overall tonality. Offered in a dark wood frame, good condition."
