Condition
"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's.
The canvas is lined and the paint surface is stable. There is restoration to the damaged edges and lower left corner. There are one or two restored losses to the sky and a further scattering of minor retouchings here, visible under U-V light. The textured paint in the foreground is in good condition despite some abrasion to the darker passages. The varnish is slightly discoloured.
Offered in a dark wood frame, good condition."
