This print, with a wide range of gray tones and the 'LP' (for Lone Pine) visible in the dark hillside at the left, is on paper with a semi-glossy surface and is on a mount that has been trimmed (3/8-inch at the bottom, and 1/4-inch on the other three sides). The print is in generally very good condition. The upper and lower edges are lightly rubbed. When examined in raking light, several pinpoint indentations, primarily in the lower half of the print, and two very small linear indentations in the upper right sky area, are visible. None of these breaks the emulsion. The mounted print has been flush-mounted again onto a heavy, 1/4-inch-thick board. The mount exhibits age-darkening. This print has been conserved, and a conservation report is available upon request.
