flush-mounted, titled, dated, numbered '5/10,' and inscribed '(MAP) 1891' in an unidentified hand in pencil and ink and with the photographer's estate stamp, signed by Michael Ward Stout, Executor of the Mapplethorpe Estate, and dated in an unidentified hand in ink on the reverse, matted, framed, 1988, no. 5 in an edition of 10 (Pistils, p. 141; Flowers, p. 47; The Complete Flowers, pl. 182)
