Generally very good overall conditon. The foliate plaster elements with numerous restored old cracks and breaks with minor associated chip losses. The crack lines have old evidence of glue repairs and repainting as expected. Some repairs are loose and would benefit from restoration. Overall surface soiling notably to the candle arms and to the sculptural recesses of the foliate decoration. The candle sleeves are largely chipped and scratched and would benefit from restoration. The sconces are currently wired for European use. Wiring not tested. The sconces have an impressive sense of scale when viewed in person.
