Colours lighter in reality. Salmon coloured ground to borders, and main field with lighter, creamier ground. Orange centres to floral motifs not so strident, but lighter tangerine hue. Some minor repairs to sides. Ends overlocked. Warp fringing 2-3cm generally. Pile overall is good, approximately 7mm deep. Area of pile 3-4mm and warp and weft knots poking through. Very minor and barely noticeable. Cut for fireplace, where section of border cut out and re-inserted, one section 115cm. long x 43cm. deep, and the other extending out around this insert, is approximately 161.5cm. long x 116cm. deep. Overall a very attractive carpet with lovely pale colouring and crisp drawing.
