dated AH 1304 (c.1886 AD) in central medallion
Condition
Colours not as intense in reality, but lighter in appearance. Dense weave. Partial losses to the side guards. Sides re-overcast. Fringes trimmed. Bottom left corner damaged, with irregular edge, and section missing of inner border and ground in this area. Area of wear to ground on right side of carpet, immediately adjacent to the central medallion, with foundation visible. Wear to cream area of medallion in areas. Some dark speckled masks in areas overall, for example to salmon pink ground in top two corners. Two cuts centre of left side, one approximately 25cm. and another approx. 10cm. (within approx. 100cm of each other on one side). Carpet needs some attention. Attractive and open drawing to the border.
