Condition
This work is in very good condition. There is scattered wear around the base and along the edges of some of the open elements. There are linear abrasions on the back 2 rows of squares (as photographed) in the 2nd, 4th and 5th squares from the left. The white elements have very slightly discolored over time and there is evidence of very minimal retouching on the edges of these elements.. The base of the work has scattered minor scuffs and intermittent areas of inpainting in the gray and white areas. The corners of the base have minor losses and inpainting as well. There are two 1 inch diameter clear aqueous spots: one is located in the 4th square from the front in the 1st row from the left and the other in the front right corner square of the base as illustrated.
