Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. Extending from the front edge of the top face, there is an intermittent diagonal scratch 1 1/4 in. in length located 9 ½ - 10 ¾ in. from the right edge. On the outer front face, there is a 1 in. scratch approximately six inches down from the opening. Both scratches have rust accumulations consistent with the surrounding surface. On the top, side and front faces (as well as the inner face visible through opening) the rust exhibits a soft smooth texture, while the bottom and hidden faces have a rougher, more natural spotted rust appearance. On the outer surfaces in the upper left corner of the right face and the upper right corner of the left face, there are some small scattered darker spots, and a darkish cast that is associated with handling. The same handling effect are on the bottom corners and inside and outside on the forward corners of the top face.
