two seated putti holding a crown of thorns surmounting doors opening to reveal a partially painted oval relief of the Crucifixion, the corners with winged seraph heads, raised upon a vasiform stem atop an oval base with recumbent lions, carved throughout with strapwork decoration and the reverse with the entwined initials GS.
