Overall in very good condition. The copper surfaces throughout with minor surface scratches and abrasions, rubbing, tarnish and discoloration consistent with age and gentle use. The silvered interiors showing gentle wear, rubbing to the plating, and tarnish. The wood handles are gently worn and rubbed, showing remnants of what appears to be white cream polish in the recessed pores of the wood. The wood handles on the covered sugar bowl appear to be lightly varnished. The wood handle of the kettle-on-stand with a stable vertical stress fracture. A very attractive and totally intact example of this rare copper tea and coffee service.
