Overall in very good condition. There are approximately 15 cracks to the glass dispersed throughout the shade. All of the bronze hardware appears to be period (including the central shade finial, chains, ceiling plate, rod, socket cluster, and arm support for the chains). The electrical sockets have been replaced. The colors of the glass are significantly brighter and less dense than seen in the catalogue illustration. The geometric background glass subtly transitions out from the center of the shade from clear to white glass mottled with tones of yellow and amber. The decorative band is articulated in bright green and yellow with hints of amber and orange. All of the glass, with the exception of the decorative band, is rippled, imparting the shade with a tremendous amount of texture and depth. The patina on the shade leading and all of the bronze hardware is a rich green with russet brown highlights. The chandelier presents beautifully in person. The elongated height of its bronze hardware is not entirely visible in the catalogue illustration, and makes the chandelier's presentation very elegant and dramatic.
