In good condition. This sheet had been previously treated to remove hinges from the top right and left resulting in uneven blanching and staining, the upper right has a repaired two inch tear running through the treated area which also shows the effects having been unevenly thinned. These repairs are confined to the sheet above the image area. There are several small repaired tears along the right edge. The left edge is uneven having probably been removed from a book. The piece has a mild light stain. The treated areas at the top have been mitigated with inpainting. The above condition report has been provided by Alan Firkser of Paper Conservation Studio, Inc., an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's.
