Executed on two superimposed sheets of cream wove paper, not laid down. The sheets are taped to the overmount along the upper edge. The artist made three holes in the upper sheet, located in the central and lower part of the composition, through which the lower sheet is visible. Thus pigments applied to the upper sheet has come through the lower sheet. There are various artist's handling marks on the back of the sheets, no doubt intrinsic to the artistic process. This work is in good original condition.
