Condition

Both tables appear to have been varnished evenly. Left hand: the lower part of the palm has a few spots of rubbing and scratches with some white spotting. There is a 2 in. scratch along the left side of the palm and some nicks to the fingernail of the thumb. The middle finger also has a couple of white nicks. There are a couple of parallel nicks, about ½ in. each on one of the legs. The right side of the hand also has some slight rubbing. Overall, it is in good condition. Right hand: this piece has most likely been re-varnished since the color is slightly darker than the left hand. There are a few stains to the lower part of the palm—possibly some rubbing to the varnish. There is a 1 in. scratch to the top of the thumb and a nick to the side of the index finger. There are some nicks and there is some rubbing to the middle finger. Overall, it is in very good condition.
