The paper has been laid down on canvas. The upper two corners of the paper have presumably torn off so the corner are not straight but slightly rounded. The same applied to the lower left corner tip. The paper also seems to have torn off slightly along the lower right edge. There is some very slight darkening on all four edges from previous matting or frame. There are a couple of nicks to the paint along the lower right corner as well as another to the figure's right. Overall, the work is in very good condition.
