The sculpture is in excellent condition. It displays a uniform black patina that is in very good condition. The patina is slightly rubbed on the male figure's proper left upper arm and on the female's proper right shoulder.
Several small faint horizontal scratches were observed on top of the base. A 6" long horizontal scratch that was not too noticeable was found on the side of the base that has the artist's signature. A faint 3" scratch in the form of an arch was evident on the front of the female below her waist.
The sculpture is clean and bears a fresh wax coating. The sculpture is structurally sound.
