Condition
The artwork is in very good condition. The black painted background with white pin stripes is in very good condition and the paint is tightly bound. The white frame that encompasses the composition is structurally sound and in very good condition. The white painted surface appears slightly soiled and the outside edges of the frame display minor wear which are characteristic of its age. Several very small losses of paint can be seen along the bottom joint where the bottom shelf of the frame meets the central pinstriped panel. All twenty-five black painted wires that are suspended with monofilament are accounted for and are in very good condition. No significant scratches or abrasions were noted on the surface.
