Yellow gold, emerald and diamond bracelet, circa 1950

Description

Of jarretière design, the stylised mesh bracelet to a clasp set with a step-cut emerald, single- and circular-cut diamonds, embellished with yellow gold fringes, mounted in yellow gold and platinum, French assay and indistinct maker's marks.

Condition

French assay for gold and platinum, indistinct maker's marks. Inner circumference approximately 162mm. Emerald medium colour saturation, typical crystal inclusions, minor nicks and abrasion. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.65 carats in total, good brilliance. Clasp secure, with two safety catches. Minor scratches to metal commensurate with age and wear. Well preserved, in good condition.
