Diamond brooch, circa 1910 and an aquamarine ring

Description

The open work bar brooch of stylised foliate and scroll design millegrain set with single- and circular-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, French assay marks, circa 1910, the ring set with a step-cut aquamarine, to a plain yellow gold mount, size 56.

Condition

Ring: Stamped 750 for gold. The aquamarine is a light blue with good metallic lustre and is eye clean. Minor knicks and abrasions but not noticeable when worn. Signs of normal wear to the mount, overall condition is good. Brooch: French assay marks for platinum and gold. Total diamond weight is approximately 1.25 carats, H-J colour, VS-SI clarity. Solder is visible from front and reverse. Signs of extended wear, scratches consistent with use, overall condition is fair.
