Composed of eight graduated step-cut emeralds, set within a geometric border of circular-, single-, step-cut and baguette diamonds, mounted in platinum, length approximately 180mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels  Paris and indistinctly numbered, French assay and maker's marks, case.

Condition

Signed Van Cleef & Arpels Paris and indistinctly numbered. French assay marks for platinum. Total diamond weight approximately 18.00-20.00 carats, as gauged in the mount, overall G-I colour, VS-I clarity, bright and lively stones. The step-cut diamonds for the most part J-K colour. Emeralds gauged to weigh approximately 0.90, 1.05, 2. 40, 2.60, 2.15, 0.85 and 0.97 carats (from left to right, the right side beeing the one with the two tongs). Overall well matched in colour, typical crystal inclusions, a few stones with some minor nicks around facet edges. Clasp secure. Minor scratches to metal commensurate with age and wear. Well preserved, in good condition.
