Description
Composed of a line of old mine diamonds, interspersed with three clusters each centring on a cabochon emerald within a surround of circular-cut diamonds, length approximately 170mm.
Condition
Metal tested as silver and gold. Emeralds a vibrant green with moderate saturation of colour, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye some reaching surface. Estimated total diamond weight calculated as approximately 26.12 carats. Weights of diamonds from tongue to clasp estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity VS-SI. Estimated diamond weights approximately: 1.38 carats, 1.55 carats, 1.76 carats, 1.27 carats, 1.55 carats, 1.86 carats, 1.51 carats, 1.58 carats, 1.44 carats, 1.68 carats, 1.16 carats, 1.47 carats, 1.65 carats, 1.36 carats, 1.42 carats, 1.31 carats. Clasp secure, safety catch to underside slightly bent. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In very good condition.
