Description
The creamy enamelled perfume holder, opening to reveal a watch, the black arabic numeral to a golden dial and blue steel hands, dial signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, case; together with a necklace designed as a single row of seventy-three graduated pearls, the clasp set with a circular-cut diamond of brownish tint within borders of similarly cut stones and simulated diamonds, length approximately 450mm, with a safety chain.

Condition
Perfume / watch holder: numbered 47816. Mechanical movement in running condition at time of cataloguing. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Scratches and loss to enamel and gold, otherwise in good condition.
Pearl necklace: Cream to creamy body colour with rosé and golden overtones. For the most part smooth skin, minor blemishes and good lustre. The diamond of brownish tint gauged to weigh approximately 0.30 carat. A couple of diamonds and simulated diamonds with abrasion and chips, noticeable with the aid of a 10x lens. In good condition.
