Description
Comprising: a brooch designed as a gold textured snail set with a turbinidae shell embellished with a cabochon turquoise, signed Verdura Paris, French assay and maker's marks, circa 1950s; a pair of gold earrings of stylised feather design, signed Gübelin and numbered, maker's marks, clip and post fittings, circa 1950s; a gold brooch designed as a lobster, the shell and claws articulated, French assay and maker's marks, circa 1950s; a grey pearl and textured gold insect brooch and a gold bracelet designed as a band of interwoven figure-of-eight textured links, length approximately190mm, part illustrated.
Condition
Snail brooch: French assay marks for gold.
Earrings: Stamped 750 for gold and numbered 440-8039-06.
Lobster brooch: French assay marks for gold.
Insect brooch: Metal tested as gold. Pearl with strong rosé and green overtones, some blemishes, good lustre.
Gold bracelet: Stamped 750 for gold, maker's marks.
