Description

In the Persian style, the surmount of palmette and geometric design, suspending an articulated fringe, set with carved rubies of various sizes and shapes, circular-, single-cut, triangular and baguette diamonds, mounted in platinum, French assay marks, brooch fitting, fringe section detachable.

Condition

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of jadeite or ruby into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Stamped with French assay mark for platinum. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 18.00 carats in total, generally VS-SI clarity, a few I. Rubies overall well matched, good colour saturation with typical crystal inclusions (some reaching surface), some stones with minor abrasion. Total length approximately 16.5mm. Scratches and minor tarnish to metal commensurate with age and wear. Well preserved. In good condition.
