Description

Designed as a floral spray centring on a flower head set en tremblant, set with cushion-shaped, old mine, circular- and single-cut diamonds, later pin fitting, accompanied by a case by S.J.Phillips Ltd.

Condition

Metal tested as silver and gold. The central diamond measuring approximately 9.40 x 9.10mm in diameter, the depth not possible to be gauged because of the mounting, closed back setting. The weight of the rest of the diamonds estimated to be approximately 18.00 - 20.00 carats, mixed in colour and clarity. Scratched inventory numbers to reverse. Minor traces of lead solder at the back. Knife edge wire holding foliate spray at top a little bent. Tarnish and scratches to metal. Signs of wear commensurate with age. Rare piece overall well preserved and in good condition.
