Description
The rectangular case set with cream enamel and textured yellow gold, embellished with Patée fitched cross motifs within an argyle pattern, the thumb piece set with single-cut and baguette diamonds, signed Cartier Made in France and numbered, French assay and maker's marks, British Hallmarks, measurements approximately 80 x 57 x 17mm, pochette, loss to enamel.
Condition
Signed Cartier Made in France and numbered 7841 and 1873. British Hallmarks for London 1917, maker's marks. Quite important loss to white enamel, scratches to gold commensurate with age and use. In overall good condition.
