Condition
The canvas is unlined.
There are some paint losses along the upper edge, the right edge and the lower edge, as visible in the catalogue illustration, but the paint surface is otherwise in good condition much of tis original impasto and under a somewhat yellowed varnish.
Inspection under UV light reveals very little later intervention, although some retouching work along the edges does fluoresce.
Offered in a gilt and plaster frame in fair condition with a few cracks.
