The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably along the right edge, lower edge and to the centre. There is fine scattered craquelure, and there are small flecks of paint flaking and loss along the extreme edges of the canvas. Held in a decorative, muted gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
