Condition
Apart from some very slight bowing at the lower left corner (convex), the panel is in good condition, flat and even. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably along the lower extreme right edge and to the arched doorway in the background. Apart from frame rubbing along the upper half of the extreme left edge, this work is in good condition, with rich colours and a strong surface. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
