The panel is in good condition, flat and even. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, under an uneven varnish. Apart from scattered fine craquelure, this work is in good condition, with rich colours and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, striated, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
