Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered flecks of minor retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably along the upper edge. Apart from some hairline craquelure to a spot of heavy impasto above the right-hand tram, this work is in very good condition, with rich tones and a strong surface, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a cream fabric insert.
