Condition

Original canvas. There are some minor spots of retouching visible under ultra-violet light. There is one repaired, crescent shaped tear of approximately 16cm. length in the upper left quarter, which has been retouched (visible to the naked eye). There is one horizontal tear of approximately 8cm. length near the lower edge, and 3 further small tears: two beneath the bulls (visible in the catalogue illustration), and one dent with an associated 1cm. long tear along the centre of the right edge. Otherwise this work is in good condition. Held in a large, ornate guildwood frame, overall in good condition.
