Original canvas. There are scattered spots of retouching, notably to the lower right corner, the streetlamps and to the sky at the upper left. Apart from some craquelure to the brown pigments in the foreground, this work is in good condition, with a strong surface and tones. Held in a simple, bronze-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
