FIRST EDITION, 4 volumes, folio (37.6 by 28.6 cm) ONE OF 20 DELUXE COPIES ON VELLUM, this being copy number 2, with 398 plates in two states, comprising 133 hand-coloured and 265 plain plates, original vellum, silver clasps and catches, corners and centre-pieces, top edge gilt, doublures with gilt morocco onlays framing 23 hand-coloured portrait miniatures, the volumes preserved in original buckram slip cases
Condition
The volumes are generally in very condiiton. There has been some very slight time-staining to the vellum, however this is consistent with its age. This is a fine copy.
