turned slightly to his right, the ram's horns fragmentary, the modius with everted rounded rim and carved in front with a frond in low relief, remains of the original polish on the face.

Georges and Ludmilla Anghelopoulo, Beirut, Paris, and Kitzbܫühel, acquired from Elie Boustros, Beirut, prior to ꦫ1948

Condition

Ram’s horns mostly missing, modius has large chunk broken off proper left side and is chipped all along top edge, some curls evidently missing in lower part of beard, neck and face seems to have preserved somne of the original polish, back of hair summarily carved and with protruding neck support, remains of red pigment?
