boldly carved, with long wavy beard of thick voluted curls, bared teeth, and gnarled brow, and wearing a wreath of ivy leaves and berries.

As shown. Head carved in high relief and fragmentary around perimeter. Back is flat. Extensive chips and losses elsewhere. Minor smoothing in cheeks possible.
