Arabic manuscript on paper, 306 leaves, plus 3 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page, written in neat Naskhi script in black ink, verses separated by gold segmented roundels embellished with blue and red dots, surah headings written in white against gold panels, ruled in gold, margins with blue, gold and white floral illuminations, opening illuminated double page frontispiece decorated in a baroque floral style, with a band of bouquet filled cartouches enclosing circular text roundels, the text within cloudbands against a punched gold ground, binding decorated with a gold ribbon design, the interstices gold punched and filled with leafy sprays, with flap

Condition

In good overall condition, opening flyleaf loose, a few nibbles to opening double page leaf edges, one or two paper repairs, pages clean, binding in good condition, as viewed.
