Description

of deep rounded form on a raised everted foot in underglaze cobalt blue, turquoise, sage green and manganese purple outlined in black, the interior decorated with a central floral motif of blossomed rosettes, sprays of stylised hyacinths and saz leaves emanating from a leafy vase flanked by tulips, encircled by alternating similar floral motifs and tulips issuing from chinoiserie cloud bands, the exterior and the foot decorated in saz leaf and rosette style, the rim filled with rotating tulip bud cartouches

Condition

This work is in good condition. There is minor rubbing to glazing and light sporadic sains. Very minor consolidation repairs to the interior and light surface dirt is slightly visible. Due to the size of the diameter, the rim is not a perfect circle. There is surface imperfection to the rim of the foot, as viewed.
