- Pair of Mamluk revival enamelled and gilded mosque lamps, France, 19th Century

each of waisted globular form with wide flaring neck, the body with six applied lug handles, decorated in blue, red, green, yellow, white and brown enamels and gilding, the body with flowering plants and vines emanating from a leafy tuft, the neck with blazon roundels enclosing fleur de lys interspersed with composite lotuses, bordered by leafy scrolls reserved in blue, the underbody with cusped cartouche roundels
Condition
overall in very good condition. there is some minor rubbing to the surface, the paint is intact throughout and some very minor scratches to the handles, as viewed.
