Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the illustration fails to convey the sculptural nature of the work.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. As is evident in the catalogue illustration, there are minute spots of media accretion scattered in places throughout and a very small, minor indentation and very thin associated hairline cracks to the top right of the egg in approximately the sixth row up from the bottom towards the right edge. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals an area of restoration along the upper left edge.
