Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There are scattered pinholes and pin impressions which appear inherent to the artist's working method. Additionally the cut elements reveal exposed edges of the paper board which are visible in the catalogue illustration. The paperboard is affixed to the panel with intermittent staples which have oxidized with age. In the areas where there are no staples, the collaged elements are lifting slightly from the panel. There is an 8 inch undulation in the lower left quadrant which is located 11 inches from the bottom edge. Additionally the lower left quadrant exhibits scattered drip accretions as well as a 3 inch abrasion located 2 inches from the left side and 11 inches from the bottom edge. Framed under Plexiglas.
