- ink and colour on paper, hanging scroll
signed NANCHANG ZHANGREN YUAN, dated ji chou, 1949, autumn, inscribed. Later inscribed again, signed DAQIAN ZHANG YUAN, dated geng yin, 1950, the sixth lunar month, with a dedication, and a total of three seals of the artist

- Signs of restoration could be found throughout the painting, which appears to be paper loss, mostly in the blank areas of the painting, otherwise, generally in fair condition.
