- LADY UNDER THE BANANA TREE
- ink and colour on paper, framed
signed DAQIAN JUSHI YUAN, dated ren chen, 1952, the seventh lunar month, with a dedication, and four seals of the artist
Condition
- Generally in very good condition.
- Multiple layers of colours are failed to be reproduced in the illustration, whereas the colours on the actual piece appear to be vivid and expressive, and the paper tone is whiter than that of the illustration.
- Nicely framed against linen matt with original brocade mounting borders being kept.
