Painting with waterfall: ultraviolet light shows scattered retouchings throughout the composition. among these are a large area in foliage at upper right and a large area on the upper part of the large rock; other smaller retouches are scattered with some all along left edge. Painting with bridge: there is some sinking of the darks in the tree at left. under ultraviolet light, one can see scattered small retouches throughout with larger areas on the tree at left and along all four edges. In black wood frames with carved and gilt outer and inner trim. numerous nicks and losses.
