Condition

Overall in very good condition. The shade with only 6-8 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The bottom geometric border of the shade with several tight and fine cracks to the glass. The shade leading is beautifully rendered with fine lines, displaying a rich russet brown and green patina. The “Pinneaple” base is in excellent condition, and is a superb example of this rare model, displaying an exceptionally rich russet brown and green patina. The favrile glass blown out through the reticulated base standard appears original and undisturbed, with no visible cracks or condition issues. The patinated bronze surfaces on the base with minimal gentle rubbing to the patina, and with some light surface soiling to some of the recessed contours, consistent with age and very gentle use. All of the base components, sockets, and the integral finial with integral knop switch, appear to be original and undisturbed. A superb example of the model displaying a particularly artistic glass selection with a fully saturated range of magenta and red glass articulating the tulip blossoms. The shade and base present beautifully together as a unit, representing the ideal pairing for the model.
