Overall in very good condition. This lamp is being consigned by descendants of the original owners (see provenance in catalogue description) and the shade, base and finial by all accounts have originated together. The shade with approximately 12 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, and with some surface soiling along the recessed contours of the shade leading. The patinated bronze surfaces with some light rubbing to the patina and light surface soiling to the recessed contours consistent with age and gentle use. All of the base components and sockets appear to be original and undisturbed; one of the three paddle switches appears to be replaced. With a rare, beautifully decorated finial, assumingly original to the lamp. An attractive naturalistic example of the model displaying vigorously articulated confetti glass throughout, which imparts the shade with a tremendous amount of depth and tactility.
