Condition

Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass lily shades are an attractive well-matched set in terms of form and color. One shade with a small crack extending from the top aperture approximately ½ inch (appears stable and not visible when installed in the lamp). One shade with two very small rim chips (1/8 inch each) to the top aperture, and two shades with minute shallow surface flecks to the top apertures (none of which are visible when the shades are installed). The patinated bronze base displays a rich russet brown and green patina, with very gentle rubbing to the patina and some light surface soiling to the recessed contours consistent with age and gentle use. The base retains all of its bronze shade bobeches, porcelain sockets and bakelite base switch. The base plate on the underside of the lamp (which is period and has the correct model number for this design) displays a different metallic-brass colored patina from the base. A fine example of this iconic model displaying a beautiful set of well-matched shades with strong iridescence and luminous color.
